Mother's Day Project

WOW! It has been a while! I have been busy, busy, busy preparing for our move next month! Where does the time go??

Today my topic is Mother's Day. I just finished a gift project that I am absolutely in love with. I think I will make one for every "mom" in my family!

The set includes a handmade memo board for the fridge, a hand stamped candle and a cute little basket for Mom. I have yet to make a coordinating card, but I am sure I will! I also have not decided what I will fill the basket with. Tea...chocolates...tiny flowers??

Here are the details:

CANDLE:
Stamps: Live Your Dream
Ink: Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Supplies: White candle (I got this one from the Dollar Tree), white tissue paper, wax paper, heat gun

CORK BOARD:
Stamps: Live Your Dream; Short Order Alphabet
Ink: Soft Sky; Versamark; Pastels (Coral, Olive and Chocolate Chip)
Paper: Afternoon Tea DSP; Groovy Guava; Whisper White
Supplies: Cork Tiles (5x5-Hobby Lobby); Clear Push Pins; Ribbon; Magnet Strips; Staples

BASKET:
Stamps: All Holidays
Ink: Chocolate Chip; Groovy Guava
Paper: Afternoon Tea DSP, Whisper White, Soft Sky
Supplies: Marvy Scallop Oval (pink)

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Hugs,

Very cute! I'm too chicken to do the candle thing. Don't know why...I have enough candles being a Gold Canyon demonstrator! Go figure :)
